Lisa is the main point of contact for Solana Center's Zero Waste programs.
With more than twenty years of experience focusing on reducing waste through energy-efficiency and high-performance building operations, Lisa strives to continually expand sustainability strategies applicable to diverse groups including community members, business operators, and organizational decision-makers. She has worked extensively on certifying and verifying the performance of commercial buildings by implementing third-party rating systems such as LEED, Build It Green, and Title 24-Part 6. She has a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, with an emphasis on sustainable solutions for the built environment.
She is a Master Composter and a docent for the Eco Learning Lab at the Del Mar Fairground’s Infield Farm.
