Event Support – Waste to Wonder (Multiple Shifts Available)

Help to commemorate Solana Center’s 40th Anniversary by supporting this special event!  Waste to Wonder is an celebration that includes delicious vegan food and local drinks, live music, silent auction, and more.  

Volunteers will help with set up, check-in, catering support, silent auction support and break down. 

Shifts will include some time to mix and mingle, with breaks for snacks, and catered food will be available at approximately 8 pm.

Volunteer Shift Times (you may sign up for more than one shift)

3:00 pm to 6:30 pm

5:30 pm – 9:00 pm

6:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Note:  when you register for this event, the first page of the form will collect your personal information, and you will be taken to a second page to select your shift(s).

PLEASE READ:  Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes  

• Attire: “Business casual” is preferred.  Suggested:  a polo or dress shirt with pants, and comfortable shoes.  

• Experience Needed: All levels of experience welcome! 

• Age Requirements: Must be aged 18 and up. 

• Physical Requirements: Must be willing to do hands-on work.  Preferably be able to lift up to 20 pounds. 

• Other: Please be on the lookout for an information email 1-4 days before the event with any additional details. If you can no longer make the event and need to cancel, please email volunteer@solanacenter.org  as soon as possible so we can give your spot to another volunteer.
