Vermicomposting (worm composting) is an environmentally-friendly way to turn your food waste into nutrient-rich castings for your plants or garden beds. Learn all about how easy it is to compost your food waste with Red Wiggler worms at this interactive presentation.

Join us for this presentation where you will learn the basics of vermicomposting. Using trial-tested advice and interactive demonstrations, our expert educators will teach you all you need to know to get started with a bin that fits your needs and lifestyle.

Feel free to stay and explore this wonderful place with exhibits showing visitors how to make their own gardens beautiful and drought tolerant.

In this workshop, we will cover the following topics:

  • How to feed your worms and which foods are suitable for worms
  • How to make your own worm bin
  • What tools and materials you'll need
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting your worm bins

We'll also be RAFFLING off a FREE compost accessory to ONE lucky attendee!
