About the Speaker: Dave Johnston - Founder & Lead Designer - BioEve
The workshop is taught by BioEve, founder and lead designer, Dave Johnston. Since moving to Southern California in 2011, Dave found his passion in gardening and landscaping. BioEve provides organic resource design for clients throughout San Diego County. Prior to starting BioEve, Dave established and ran the school garden program at Cardiff Elementary, operated the tree health division at ProTrees, and created a wide variety of landscape systems from San Diego to Oceanside. Dave’s primary expertise is in tree care, focusing mostly on fruit trees in backyard orchard settings. Using permaculture techniques, Dave has created food forest systems that produce year-round and require seasonal care as opposed to the intensive care required by conventional gardens.
