Troubleshooting, Harvesting, & Using Traditional Compost Webinar - County of San Diego

Composting is a dynamic process with needs that change over time. This virtual webinar will teach you how to care for your compost pile from start to finish and reap the rewards of a beautiful finished soil amendment. This is Part 4 of our 4-part Traditional Composting Series.

Is your compost drying out? Smelling not-quite-right? Are you unsure when it's ready to use in the garden? We can all use a little help sometimes! In this webinar, Solana Center's knowledgeable staff will discuss how to maintain a happy compost pile from scraps to soil, and how this "black gold" can contribute to the health of your landscape.

We will conduct this webinar using Zoom, so please note that you will need to have the Zoom application installed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) to attend and participate. You will receive an email with the link and password to join upon registration.

This webinar is funded by the County of San Diego and is intended for residents of unincorporated County. Anyone may attend, however, the webinar recording will be available for 2 weeks after the live presentation to unincorporated County residents only.

In this webinar, we will cover the following topics
