Composting Booth at the Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival

Join the earth-friendly festivities at the Water Conservation Garden for their annual Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival. Solana Center will be there to educate folks about the importance of composting and its role in maintaining a healthy planet. Help us provide the community with resources and inspiration to incorporate composting into their daily lives.

Volunteers will help us educate visitors and also get to play in the events many attractions: Plant sale, animal encounters, food trucks, docent-led tours, presentations, and demonstrations, butterfly releases, and so much more! For more information about the event visit the Water Conservation Garden website.

At this event you will assit with:

  • Setting up our booth
  • Sharing information about Solana Center
  • Sharing information about composting and showing off our worms at work
  • Packing up shop

Multiple Shifts Available:

  • 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM
  • 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
