School Lunch Waste Assembly and Monitoring at Bonsall Elementary

Help our youngest environmental stewards learn how to properly sort their school lunch waste by assisting our educator with lunch monitoring at their school.

Assist one of our Solana Center educators in teaching the students about reducing waste. Get hands-on with the students and learn the basics of sorting lunch waste. Get prepared for an exciting day with our youngest eco-stewards!

Volunteers will help with:

  • Guiding students on how to properly sort their lunch waste
  • Helping students to reduce waste, one lunch at a time

Volunteer Qualifications:

  • Must be comfortable interacting with large groups of children
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Basic knowledge of waste sorting preferred or ability to learn quickly
  • Basic understanding of AV (projector and microphone) preferred
