Master Composter Program

Master Composter courses are a unique opportunity to gain a more in-depth understanding of the composting process and provide insight on sharing this knowledge and passion with others. Through a combination of hands-on activities and in-classroom learning, attendees are trained to become composting ambassadors in their communities.

The course includes lectures, demonstrations, and a field trip. The course covers the following:

  • Traditional composting
  • Compost bin build and troubleshooting (in teams!)
