Workshop Topic: Support Waste Diversion Efforts at the Farmer’s Insurance Open in La Jolla
Blue Strike Environmental (BSE), in partnership with the Farmers Insurance Open, has created The
Community Green Team (CGT). The CGT program will offer groups in San Diego the opportunity to be a part
of the Farmers insurance Open and raise funds for their organization, all while helping the environment.
And BSE will be making a donation to Solana Center for every hour worked by one of our volunteers!

Sort waste bags from event grounds into recycling, organics, and landfill
Shifts will be 5 hours long, from 11am – 4:00pm, with (1) 30-minute lunch.
Lunch, water and gloves will be provided

Attire: Please wear comfortable clothes suitable for standing, considering the weather and event location.
Lunch, water and gloves will be provided.
Bring: Don’t forget to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated, and feel free to pack snacks for break time.
