Three Ways to Celebrate Earth Day!

1. Attend EarthFair

Featuring more than 300 exhibitors, special theme areas, a Food Pavilion, a special Children's Activity Area, four entertainment venues, the Children’s Earth Parade, the eARTh Gallery arts and crafts show, and the Cleaner Car Concourse, EarthFair in Balboa Park is the largest free annual environmental fair in the world. This year's EarthFair will be fully vegetarian, NO MEAT will be sold at any of the vendors!

Stop by our booth, sponsored by the City of San Diego, to pick up a free seed packet, Solana Center t-shirt, composting accessories, or just to say hi!

Sunday, April 22, 2018
10 AM - 5 PM

2. Volunteer

Love getting your hands dirty? Want to help others reduce waste? Looking for an opportunity to volunteer with kids? Volunteers are vital to our environmental work in the community. We have opportunities to make a difference throughout San Diego County. You don't need a lot of time to become a Solana Center Volunteer

3. Donate

In honor of your commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, make a donation to support our local composting, recycling, and food waste recovery programs. Your contribution will help keep organic waste out of landfills, reduce pollution, and protect the San Diego region's precious natural resources!
