Kristin Larson, AICP and PMP, has over twelve years of experience in the sustainability field, both in public and private sectors and across the country. She is currently the Director of Energy and Sustainability at San Diego State University. Previously, she worked as a Senior Manager for the Center for Sustainable Energy, where she led electric vehicle infrastructure projects. Prior to that, she was the first sustainability planner for the City of Bowie, Maryland. While working there, one of her favorite past projects was creating a pilot food waste collection program. She holds a master’s degree in environmental sciences and policy from Johns Hopkins University. In her free time, she enjoys native gardening, wildlife watching, and hiking.
