Winter Quarterly Newsletter – 2023
Dear Eco-Stewards,
As the winter season arrives, we are looking forward to several exciting educational events, including the On-Farm Composting Course starting in January in Ramona and the ever-popular Master Composter Course starting in February in Escondido. These courses only happen once a year, so grab your spot now if you’ve been waiting for your chance to participate!
Secondly, thank you to all who have contributed to our end of year fundraising initiative. Giving Tuesday was a fun and exciting day and we are now almost halfway to our end-of-year fundraising goal, which will enable us to continue working toward a world with landfills and oceans free of discarded resources. Our volunteer program of 600 active volunteers extends this environmental programming throughout the County, with 2,500 hours given annually.
If you missed the fun, there’s still time to give. Thank you for supporting our mission.
Yours in climate resilience,
Jessica Toth
Executive Director
