Workshop Topic:  Food Waste Prevention

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring the event chat and fielding questions

  • Assist in advancing PowerPoint slides or managing our educational chart for seamless presentations.

Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes:

  • Age Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

  • Experience Needed: Should be comfortable with all the basics of Zoom meetings.

  • Prerequisites: Previous attendance at one volunteer event with Solana Center is preferred, unless you are a Master Composter graduate, already familiar with Solana Center, or knowledgeable about the workshop topic.

  • Volunteers must review the Volunteer Requirements and the Code of Conduct portions of Solana Center’s Volunteer Handbook

  • Other: Please be on the lookout for an information email 1-4 days before the event with any additional details. If you can no longer make the event and need to cancel, please let the volunteer coordinator know as soon as possible so we can give your spot to another volunteer.
