Solana Center will be offering two free workshops on the same days/locations as barrel pickup events to help you learn how to set up your rain barrel and the best ways to use it to harvest as much rainwater as possible!
You won't want to miss this hands-on opportunity to ask questions. Capacity is limited, register in advance to hold your spot! Event attendees can pick up pre-ordered barrel(s) immediately after the workshop.

Purchase:
- Rain barrels are $22 each for City of San Diego Residents after the $75 discount (original price $97)
- Rain barrel sales close 2 weeks before the event to ensure inventory is available. Limited quantities, discount available while supplies last.
More barrels and savings:
- Want more than 2 rain barrels? You may be eligible for more rebates!
- City of SD residents can receive a $1.50/gallon rebate on the purchase of non-discounted rain barrels. Learn more.
- Additional rebates are available for qualifying residents through SoCal WaterSmart which can bring the cost of of your barrels to $0 each. Rebate is limited to two barrels per person. Rebate dependent on application approval. Learn more about rebates at SoCalWaterSmart.org or read our rebate FAQ. Rebates generously provided by the San Diego Water Authority. Pick up:
- Barrels can fit in the average 2 door sedan.
- Must arrive during the designated window to pick up your barrel(s) at the event you selected upon ordering.
- After you place your order you will get an email with more instructions before the event, save this for reference!
